Hi, I’m am Wumi and I’m so glad you’re here.
 
I created Confident Women 40+ because, like many women, I hit my 40s and suddenly everything started changing — my body, my moods, my energy… and no one really prepared me for it.
 
I remember thinking, “Why is no one talking about this?” So I decided to talk about it.
 
This space is all about real, honest conversations around pre-menopause, wellness, aging, and everything in between. I’m not a doctor, but I am a woman who’s been through it — and I’ve learned a lot along the way that I want to share with you.
 
What I Believe

 My Journey Through Pre-Menopause: From Confusion to Confidence

Hi, I’m Wumi.
A mum of two incredible teenagers, a wellness advocate, and the woman behind Confident Women 40+. I’m here to create a space where women like you can feel seen, heard, and empowered.

How It All Started

A few years ago, I noticed my body was shifting — but not in ways I expected. The mood swings, insomnia, hair changes, anxiety, and hot flushes hit me like a wave. I kept asking myself: “What is going on?”

At first, I thought I was stressed or just overworked. But after doing my own research and connecting with other women, I realized:
I was going through pre-menopause.

And here’s the thing…
No one really talks about it.
No one prepares you.

But I decided I would.

 

Why I Created This Platform
 
I built Confident Women 40+ because I needed the kind of support I couldn’t find easily — honest, uplifting, practical help.
 
I wanted to turn my confusion into clarity and my symptoms into strength.
Now, I’m passionate about helping other women over 40 do the same.
This isn’t just about hormones. It’s about identity. It’s about confidence.
It’s about rewriting the story of womanhood at midlife — on our own terms.
